Avenue B - Lachute

If you're looking for something a little more upscale in Lachute, this is the place to go. Four of us had a very nice, quiet supper together, with wine. The prices were fair (possibly a little on the higher side), but it was for a birthday dinner, so we didn't mind. I'm told that the brunches are particularly good (I think they're on the weekends... You'd have to check).

I didn't know what to expect. We came to the same location when it was a different restaurant a couple of times and were really not impressed and I guess it stuck with me and I was reluctant to try. Finally I decided to go for my parents anniversary and was not disappointed. Service was excellent and the menu had something for every taste. Food fit the price. Overall very nice and everyone at our table was satisfied.

Thank God we didn't read the reviews on TA before coming! We ended up at the Avenue B on a whim with no reservations. We were nicely greeted on arrival and brought to a very nice table for two. Not a large menu to choose from, just enough to please every palate (More of a French cuisine). Drinks were very good and the food was well prepared and delicious. Service was fast and friendly even the restaurant was packed. We were pleasantly surprised by this find!

Notre première visite depuis que le restaurant est sous une nouvelle administration. Excellent service, efficace et courtois. Très bonne nourriture, quoique un peu généreuse sur la salière. Bon rapport qualité-prix.
