Alegria Cozinha Moderna Sangria

I had the Fajita Moderna. At first I thought it looked a little sparse because of the large bowl-like plate. Then I took a bite of the meat and it was just perfect. Then I noticed that the dish was arranged in a kind of sequence so you could have different combinations of the little side condiments that came with it. The plate was large so you can move stuff around and combine to your liking. Each bite was a wonderful treat. I was satisfied and full by the time I finished. It wasn't sparse at all. At the end, I was scraping up the juices just to get myself an echo of the flavors I got to experience. I didn't think I would get something like that for the price. Definitely going back to work my way through the menu.

If you're big on latin american cuisine, then this place is for you. Food was great, really good fusion of flavors, with that right hint of smokiness, spiciness, and subtle sweetness that you look for in the cuisine. We ordered the Feijoada, Fricasé de Pollo, Coxinha, and a few of their soft shell tacos, the Barbacoa and Koreana, which are a must try! Price was on the higher end, but within reason for a restaurant in bgc. Serving size was okay, but i would personally prefer larger servings. Overall, pretty good bar and resto. Try their Sangria if you can as well!
