Mariscos Villa Del Mar - La Puente

I had the Filete empapelado, and it exceeded my expectations! The fish was tender and perfectly cooked. It came with a large chile huerito, and I wish they had sliced it and included it in the foil pouch. I've also tried the Campechana during another visit, and that was quite good as well! Just a side note: I visited on a weekday, and the place had a strong smell of Pine-Sol — maybe they had a recent inspection. When I went to pay the bill, they asked if I wanted the sixty-three cents in change. I said yes, but as I was leaving, I thought maybe I should have told them to keep the change since it was a slow night. Oops, my mistake!

It was my first time at this restaurant, and I really enjoyed the asada and fish tacos—they were delicious. However, the red salsa could use some enhancement. Overall, it was a great experience, and I can't wait to return!
