Very long wait for service due to short staff. Once the chef arrived it was a fun experience and the food portions were huge. About 2.5 hours from arrival to departure.
A little expensive, but portions were huge. However, the place was very dirty. Walls, floors, countertops were all covered with grime. Even the rolling cart they brought the food out on had old, dried grunge on it. Would have left immediately if we had not been there with others.
This Japanese restaurant is definitely hidden! When we pulled up we thought it was closed there are certain days it's only open at dinner time this was a Monday so that was one of the days. We were first ones at the hibachi table so we waited a while to be sure no one else would come in to want hibachi table. No one ever sat at the hibachi table so the cook came out and just cooked for us. The chef was so hilarious and talked to us about how long he has been a chef, this and that. Don't think I've ever been to one that has done that. Talk about a lot of food he gave us a TON of food! It was way too much but was yummy! If you haven't tried this place you definitely should!
Chef was a total jerk. Watched tv the whole time he was cooking and went off on some angry rant when we asked for ginger sauce. Food was decent. The waitress was very attentive. We're out. They won't see another dime from us.
