Uno Venti Pizzeria - La Crosse

I had a pepperoni pizza with fresh roasted mushrooms, and it was amazing! It's the best pizza I've had in 15 years.

We stumbled upon this restaurant while wandering through downtown La Crosse, and it was a spontaneous decision to give it a try since my husband is passionate about Italian cuisine. This place truly embodies AUTHENTIC ITALIAN PIZZAS. The stone-fired thin crust pizzas are made just like they are in Italy, and we honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. We sampled both the white and red base pizzas—Sausage with Candied Cipollini and the Carbonara—and they were PERFECT! For dessert, we indulged in Toasted Pistachio Ice Cream, which we absolutely loved. We’re definitely going to become regulars here! The service was excellent as well.

First, let's address the negatives. Avoid their desserts and take a short walk to Pearls for some ice cream instead. The Nutella pizza resembles more of a quesadilla, lacking in Nutella and overly chewy. They also ruined the tiramisu by smothering it in chocolate sauce and whipped cream (so unappetizing!). Tiramisu is already a perfect dessert, so I can't fathom what kind of decision-maker would choose to spoil it. On the brighter side, the pizzas were excellent. They have a thin crust, so just keep that in mind. The sauce on the pepperoni pizza was delightful, and even though the Carbonara was quite salty, it still tasted very good. I would definitely return just for the pizza.

Went on a Wednesday evening with a group of girl friends and everything was delicious from appetizers,pizza even the drinks were fun! Our waiter treated us wonderfully and the prices were very reasonable. Definitely going back again and recommend it to anyone I get a chance

Best Pizza Ever! The Alfredo, Mushroom, and the Sausage and Onion were out of this world. Mojitos, Mules, and Old fashioned were top notch. Service was excellent, informative, and super friendly, especially with children. Would recommend 10 out of 10 times. Cannot wait to go back!
