Lovechild - La Crosse

So almost none of the items are naturally vegan, but they need to ask for a separate menu to see the vegan options. it is quite a lot to get only the non-vegan things out of the existing order. i highly recommend the bruschetta (I think that could be of course vegan), three times roasted French french without cheese and meerrettich sauce (not to forget ketchup) (they are better than normal french there is a spaghetti dish that has in it regular garnel and parmesan in it (so make them just make sure that the waiter, not put it in it) but, happy hour has $5 appetizers, so it's cheap, and the fries and bruschetta are there.

If they just mention that their vegan they give them a list of vegan options. I have the vegan pasta. eating was good, definitiw overpriced.

They have a vegan menu available, but they need to ask for it. the menu is somewhat limited with two appetizers and two main dishes and none desserts. they have real chefs and made us a really delicious brocolli pesto art spaghetti, which warns on the menu. it is probably the only fine culinary experience in la crosse that can offer the fine culinary feeling for a vegan escape. I wish they had a dessert option too! but in fairness its winter in wisconsin and there are not really in season fruits. but a puppy scabble could be nice!

Each drink is made with passion and the quality of the spirits is top notch. the food is made fresh and it shows. A+ The owners are fantastic and the atmosphere is just what the doctor ordered! excellent place to go to!
