Well I was told this place was good and I totally agree. Yes it is noisy but it is a cafe after all and a very very busy cafe. Last time we were here we couldn’t get a seat. Still super busy at 3pm on a Saturday. <br/ <br/ The selection in the glass cases plus the board is overwhelming but in a good way. The food looks so inviting and super fresh.<br/ <br/ My son had the veggie stack which I tried and it was fantastic but you had to pay an extra $10 for chips and salad which I though was a bit dear but the chips were some of the best I have had. Not sure if you ordered the stack by itself it would have been bigger. The kids sausage roll was a hit with my partner very tasty.<br/ <br/ Soy latte extra hot and fantastic.<br/ <br/ We will be coming back for brunch!!!!
A quirky little gem for the area and something for everyone on the never-ending menu board.<br/ <br/ SERVICE: 3/5<br/ It can get very busy during peak periods (the weekend brunch and lunch rush) however the service is very efficient. It is so busy that each staff member has just one allocated job to do and do it well. I've never had to wait very long here considering the traffic they get.<br/ <br/ FOOD: 3.5/5<br/ Everything I've tried is quite delicious however the prices are comparable to CBD cafes. The vegetable stack is my favourite. The sweetness from all the natural ingredients and creatively layering the stack using pita bread gives it a different texture.<br/ <br/ Their homemade pastries including sausage rolls and large pot pies are also wholesome and enjoyable. <br/ <br/ Great range of cakes and other dessert slices or petit fours.<br/ Unfortunately coffees are a hit and miss in my experience<br/ <br/ DECOR AMBIENCE: 3.5/5<br/ Although light and bright with all the sun beaming through the windows, it is on the squishy side getting through the dining area or even while you're waiting for your take away coffee.<br/ <br/ The under cover al fresco area is more relaxing however these prime seats fill up quickly. There is also an adults only area tucked away. This area is intended as a wine bar where food can also be ordered. The cafe also doubles up as retail space selling a variety of home decor items.<br/ <br/ KID FRIENDLY: Yes, if you don't mind it can get quite busy and loud especially on weekends. Extensive kid's menu options available.
Called in for a quick coffee and was very impressed , coffee was great and staff were friendly . Our little dog was allowed to sit out on the deck with us which was great and they were happy to give him a bowl of water. Would call in again if passing
This is a very popular cafe especially when the sun is out! You can settle yourself outside on the deck overlooking a garden display or inside amongst some interesting gift shop items that adorn the walls, nooks crannies. Most of the fare is presented in large glass display cases so you can see what your getting before you order. I have two lunchtime favourites in summer I go for the pumpkin fritter with sour cream and smoked salmon and in winter the house made chicken and mushroom pot pie- both really delicious. The chips and wedges are pretty good too and the coffee is never burnt! I'm even tempted to have their custard tart or New York cheesecake from time to time and it is always worth the calories. Be warned that it can get extremely busy and you may have to wait for your meal, the upside is you can make a booking if it's not a spur of the moment decision to visit. It can be a bit noisy inside especially if it's a full house.
