Contribuiți la feedbackWe visited for an Saturday lunch. It was busy, but we didn’t have to wait for a table. This is a venue that I’ve eyed off for a while now and the opportunity to visit arose. We were warmly greeted and seated in one of their booths. The venue is very welcoming and has a great family atmosphere.<br/ <br/ We were promptly attended to and my children were acknowledged and engaged with by most staff members. The kids were given crayons and a menu to colour in. Our orders were taken promptly, which included the kid’s ham and cheese pizza and chicken bites with chips, and the beef brisket burger and Y+F Ceasar salad with chicken.<br/ <br/ The kids meals arrived quickly, with our mains arriving shortly after. The presentation of all meals were great and the food was delicious. I especially love the Ceasar Salad, which grabbed my attention when looking at Instagram photos before ordering! As my son was having an off day, we opted to skip dessert. I was hoping to finally eat their delicious looking doffle (donut waffle), but we know not all visits go to plan.<br/ <br/ We look forward to visiting again and starting with dessert first!
Amazing service! Great service and fantastic food. Menu is big but not too big, and the decor inside is peaceful and cosy. Highly recommend!
On a mission to try out local cafes. This cafe is very kid friendly, provides a colouring kid's menu and crayons. Food came pretty quick and friendly staff.
Had lunch at Young and Foolish. Staff were super friendly and food came out promptly.<br/ <br/ We had the gin cured Salmon salad which was fresh and light. The sweetness from the orange skin and the tang from the pomegranate seeds were a nice and essential addition. We also had the corn fritters with scrambled egg and avo. The eggs were creamy and the fritters were very soft on the inside. We also shared a bowl of wedges. Thick cut, a bit curly and chunky they were great.<br/ <br/ Instagram @flabnbone_food
Invited out for dinner on a kids eat free night (Wednesday Thursday) we all had a great time.We started with the lamb ribs that comes in a deliciously sticky orange and soy glaze. The lamb was fall off the bone and oh so tender. For mains we got the gnocchi ragu, catch of the day and kid's cheeseburger w. chips. The kid's cheeseburger was loved by my 2.5 year old. The meal is generously portioned with chips and the burger had a nice thick patty. For the adults, the gnocchi was wonderful, very pillowy and soft. The ragu was rich and the perfect sauce to go with the gnocchi. The catch of the day was barramundi and it was cooked perfectly. The skin was crispy and seasoned well. The Romesco puree was so delicious I almost licked the plate clean. Finally we finished off with a doffle which is a donut x waffle. This was amazing! The perfect balance of a cinnamon donut and crispy waffle. This is a must try in my opinion.Overall we loved everything we tried here, the fact they are kid friendly and having a kids eat free on Wednesday Thursday deal makes this place an absolute winner.
