Eynesbury Homestead - Kurunjang

Dont come here on tuesday if you want lunch. As they dont serve lunch no more

I went to the Eynesbury homestead last Friday night, it was part of a Xmas present my wife and I received. The drive to get there was a bit long but I thought the travel was well worth the effort. My wife had a nice tortellini and I had the pulled pork sliders which were very yummy and followed up with a Steak. Finally found some that can cook Steak properly not just wave it over a flame and claim it's done. One third thickness a pale pink is perfect to my taste. The staff were very friendly and attentive. If this place was not a 2 hour drive I'd be back more regular, if you live in the area, then lucky you.

Poor service! Told at 5.15 pm that kitchen is closed and no all day bar food is available. Said in a way that we should have known this already. That 's all you want , then was the next comment from bar lady. We said we would wait with a couple of beers. two beers slammed down and 14 bucks was exclaimed. I 'll let you know when the kitchen re-opens . We sat in the glorious sun for an hour , finished our beers and heard nothing from the bar. Decided to move on to TABCORP Park for a nice meal and professional service.

A group of about 12 of us had a lovely Sunday afternoon, eating drinking and chatting away, all the while 2 fantastic musicians entertained us. The food was amazing and to die for, Thumbs up to the chef, we will be returning again very soon.

Had a 3 course meal, not bad. I love their desserts! Hubby and I ordered a dessert sampler which had about 4 kinds of desserts yummy!
