Kurayoshi - Kuroishi

Delicious eating in an old, reused “kura”, a traditional Japanese warehouse. the owner and his wife are super friendly – when they go, make sure to put a sticker on his guest card!

We dropped in without a reservation and had one of our most memorable meals while in Japan. The owners were extremely warm and welcoming and the food was incredible and very reasonably priced. I would 100% recommend Kurayoshi.

Fantastic experience! The staff is super friendly, food is delicious and the boss offered us an awesome hand-made dessert! We would definitely go eat there again if we had more time to spend in Kuroishi.

A great local restaurant located near the historical part of Kuroishi. Wide variety of traditional Japanese food giving you a great selection to chose from. The local kuroishi yakisoba can be eaten here which is great. The regular soba is also great. The staff is friendly and very welcoming! English menus are available which is great for tourists. Great place!
