On Taco Tuesday, tacos are just $2.49, and since it was my first time here, I was planning to have two street tacos. However, these tacos were twice the size! The picture shows what I took home after my meal, and I was definitely full! For just $9.07, I know I’ll be coming back! The horchata wasn’t great, but I don’t usually order it anyway!
On my most recent visit, my order was incorrect—though I suppose that’s consistent. While waiting in the drive-thru behind three cars, it took 16 minutes to reach the window. After confirming my order, I got home only to find yet another error. My nachos had about two tablespoons of cheese, no queso at all, and the meat was tough. Plus, the guacamole didn't look very good. I understand that hiring new employees has been challenging since COVID, but that shouldn’t come at the expense of properly training the staff you already have. I believe there are many areas for improvement within this franchise. I really want to support your business because I know the other locations are excellent. As a loyal customer since you opened, it truly saddens me to say that you're not living up to your potential.
I approached the staff, who were preoccupied watching someone mix something in a metal canister, and shared my concerns. They told me they didn't see anything wrong and acknowledged that while the tacos were overcooked, they weren't bad. They also mentioned that they had run out of some ingredients because my order was late. Since I had already paid through the app, I couldn't leave the food behind for a refund. Overall, it was a frustrating experience.
I sincerely hope our location can enhance its service. I know there have been some negative reviews, but I wanted to give it a shot because I've had wonderful experiences at the Boise location. I ordered online and picked up my meal, but when I got home, I discovered a long, dark curly hair hidden beneath the lettuce in my salad. It was quite off-putting, so I ended up not eating it.
I visited the restaurant at 7:00 PM on a Tuesday and was disappointed to find that the only meat option was sweet pork. The other dishes had dried-out meat that appeared to have been sitting since lunchtime. The rice looked unappetizing, but the beans were somewhat acceptable. When I requested chicken, a young staff member informed me it would take 45 minutes to prepare. Meanwhile, the staff seemed to be mostly idle, standing around and chatting. There were no forks available, the tables were dirty, and there was no soap in the restroom. Honestly, this is probably the worst-managed restaurant I have ever encountered.
