Fantastic fresh traditional Cretan fare. Best rabbit stew, salad, vine leaves, zucchini and tzatziki, roast bean, and roast potatoes fresh out the ground. So friendly. Great view across mountains. A must when in the area of Acoumia.

Eating here is when I fell in love with Crete. We’d driven the tiny streets from the next village up, and stopped in the afternoon for lunch. The waiter recommended the remaining few pieces of souvlaki, and my father ordered the lamb, for which he was hungry that day. It was the best meal of our trip. It's one of the best restaurant I've tried in Crete. You will find there traditional Greek dishes, cooked daily with fresh and organic vegetables from their garden (which I've seen personally), together with great hospitality! And if you are lucky enough, you will be able to try the best Galaktoboureko in the world… I already miss this place.

Gute authentische Gerichte in einer gemütlichen und herzlichen Atmosphäre. Die Gastgeberin ist sehr sympathisch und patent! Location ist auch top, am Dorfplatz unter der schattigen Plantane.

We had dinner at this lovely small restaurant. All the food was very delicious and mad with love! Also Dimitrera was very friendly and made us feel welcome! Special tip is the sweet orange at the end! ️
