One word: amazing! after a long hike from Plakias we enjoyed our meal at Mesogeios restaurant cafe. Food was beyond fresh, the plate presentation was a true pleasure for the eyes. as for the service it was perfect and what to say about the location, across the street from the beach. you might also end up with a pleasant surprise at the end of your meal : raki and dessert. Have had lunches here the past few days. The selection of fresh fish is great. We had prawns and sardines which were grilled on the barbecue. The apaki (pork in vinegar) starter is out of this world, as is the beetroot salad. But would happily eat anything on the menu. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: €10–15

My favorite. A pretty restaurant, in the shade under the tamarisk trees and opposite the beach. Everything is perfect, the service, the delicious dishes and the reasonable prices for excellent quality. I always go back there and with great pleasure.
