A great taverna in Vamos serving really good food. We ate there four times in the three weeks we stayed in Vamos and each time was excellent. Service was very good and great fun was had with the owner. Highly recommend this place abd will be going back next year.

We went there several times during our stay in Vamos. The food was great.

Best food we had in the Apokoronas region. Three days driving around here we don’t even think going to try another place. We order what is recommended and it has exceeded every expectation. I am Greek and very proud to introduce my English wife to good Greek food. Choose a table at the veranda and order the colokythokeftedes and drink a cold beer. I love my holidays!

Fantastic food, excellent service, definitely worth a visit.

Had the best avocado salad during our time in Crete at Maroubas in Vamos. Fresh, vibrant greens and red and all good. Maybe a tad too much balsamic dressing yet very enjoyable. The stew was delicious with the meat soft and tender in a fine gravy. Marobas has seating inside and on a terrace, is quiet and a peaceful place for a nice meal. The type of place I could graze, drink and read in all day. Choose from the menu or blackboard for daily dishes of the day.
