For this price (in our case 166 Euro with breakfast, Wi-Fi and parking) it is very expensive. We had a big room to the park. That was okay, like the beds. But then there was only a small bathroom without a shower. Instead, a bathtub in the room without a shower. Surely nice to play, anything but ideal to refresh. There was also no way to hang the wet towels. In addition, a tiny TV from the Stone Age, rather skurril than usable. That was a 30 x 30 cm cube. We slept really well. Beds okay. Breakfast was then again the German hotel standard: without sophistication and with baking rolls of the cheap category. Good black bread pulled it out. It is annoying that you had to pay the cappuccino separately. Filter coffee or bag tea. Maybe they should think about who their audience is. Staff nice and helpful. Parking is available for 20 vehicles, but there is plenty of space on the road. We're coming back to dinner. For a night, I'd rather not.
We liked the atmosphere. The service was friendly. The food has tasted well, but the portions were so small that we were not really fed with appetizer, main course and dessert. At the prices we would have expected at least the main course of the adult share. Shame!
We tested the castle on a Sunday night. We sat outside on the terrace and had a magnificent view into the garden on old trees. When we got the menu, we were very amazed at the kitchen, which is still very promising for experiments. We have ordered ourselves through the map and are absolutely spiritual from food. It doesn't sound good, it tastes fantastic. About the pads and the sauces I secretly licked from the plate with my finger. The waitresses were very friendly and gave us the hint that the kitchen soon closes and whether we want a dessert. We can only recommend to anyone in the area to take a trip to the castle.
