God-le - Krabi

This is an absolutely outstanding local restaurant run by the most endearing and humble family ever. We have travelled a lot and had probably the best seafood dinner with a spectacular view ever last night. It was the third time we had visited since staying nearby and had booked a table for my birthday. The owner went above and beyond to make it a special dinner, and yet the bill was less than we would pay for brunch in the UK. Outstanding and a “must visit” venue. Do not be put off by the very rustic nature…. Just accept it adds to the charm.

Incredible shrimp melt in the mouth! I had battered shrimp and then pad Thai with shrimp and can honestly say it’s the best shrimp I have ever had. Incredible taste. Also an absolute bargain paying for two courses and a Beer for around £10. You absolutely can’t argue with that!

As others have written before this is great place to eat. Easily found from the Shellsea, it offers tasty authentic Thai cuisine in a seafront setting. Service from the owners is prompt and attentive: Don’t expect luxury but this is more than made up for by everything else.

We heard about a restaurant five minutes walk from the Shellsea Resort in Krabi. We decided to investigate it. You had to walk on the road to get there. Don’t expect to see an amazing fancy restaurant. It was basically a rustic looking shack. Also some rustic tables over looking the sea. But totally charming. Owners and their staff were just lovely. The food was amazing. Definitely can recommend. We ate there three times during our stay.

You mist try God-le if you’re staying at the Sea Shell resort as we were. We were attracted by the great reviews and they didn’t disappoint. Lovely hosts serving delicious, authentic and inexpensive Thai food. Beautiful views of the sea. We loved the taramid prawns, the phad thai, the sweet and sour whole fish, the garlic chicken with basil. So good we came back on our last night. 5 stars.
