Platanos - Kos

This is a beautiful place to sit, with an amazing view of the plan tree. the menu here offers much more modern food (more vegan options, salads, brunch elements), so it is unique to other places here. the personal is beautiful and I would definitely recommend this restaurant

Amazing lunch here great aesthetics, beautiful staff, and especially eating was fantastic! best we ate on kos. santorini tomatenkugeln were a really interesting experience, with an amazing split pea dip. very recommended to eat here!

I have a simple rule when I travel: I do not visit twice a restaurant; Finally, there are only limited amounts of food you could eat, and I usually eat only once a day. this restaurant, however, is an exception because I visited here twice during my visit in kos. this restaurant is in front of the hippocrates tree: the place where they have live music in the evening. this restaurant offers European cuisine with a Greek touch. it is beautiful and romantic with all the lights that lighted up in the evening. the main focus is of course eating. I would highly recommend the crab cake, the grilled otopus was really well cooked and also appetizers. the seafood risotto was amazing: the sweet of the seafood, in generous proportion, well balanced with the risotto al dente (not something that the smell is good, I fear to say.) the steak I had visited at my second was the best steak that I had during my trip in kos. the mille feuille for our dessert was a creative experience from the cook playful and rebellious. it was fruity and creamy, but without losing the puffiness and the crumbs of the baked. they also serve sigalas assyrtiko of santorini, which I highly recommend. this is a fine dining room experience that I had in kos with solid standard of food, excellent service without air of preference. great music and ambiente and these are the reasons I returned to this restaurant despite my “no more than once rule”. some say this restaurant is somewhat expensive than the others, but I would say it offers much better price-performance ratio than most other restaurants that I have visited with a somewhat lower price-day. it's about the price-performance ratio for me and this restaurant is worth its money. eat 9/10, ambiente 9/10, service 8.5/10, value for money 9/10. what a jewel and well deserves, be on my saved list of restaurants.

Beautiful place hidden on the amazing island Greek! the wee of kos is great and should not be missed! the service was super friendly and finally the live band: I can't understand Greek, but I was totally amazed by the performance. they also played English music and even responded to my special question and played a song I chose! 10 stars for the band!

This restaurant is truly a delight to dine in. The food is exquisite and presented beautifully. I truly believe anything the chef put his hands to, tastes flavourful and utterly delicious. The mushroom soup was amazing as was the seafood risotto, the deconstructed strawberry mille-feuille was not as sweet as I would normally like, but then again I do have a very sweet tooth. Very romantic setting, overlooking a courtyard with uplit historical buildings and the 'Plane Tree of Hippocrates ' The service was very good, our waitress Emma was very attentive and friendly. The live entertainment enhanced our dining experience, it was atmospheric, romantic and fun. Songs ranged from 80’s, jazz, modern, classical and Greek songs. We actually visited twice during our holiday.
