Koako Mediterranean Taverna - Kos

Food was nice, but expensive compared to other restaurants I have tried in Kos with similar menus. I feel that I got better value elsewhere for the same cost. Staff are excellent and very friendly. Very quiet on the resort. We asked if we could pop in for drinks only. The waiter pulled his face even though the restaurant was empty. You would think they would of been glad of the custom. Waited a ridiculous amount of time for the bill while they wiped down tables that hadnt even been used. Rude miserable staff. Thank you for your strange reply. We are from UK and we never used your toilet and this was the evening so it wasnt sunny but if this is your response rather than admitting your customer service on this occasion was poor, that's fine. I had a delightful experience here, with the relaxed atmosphere combining with delicious food to make a very enjoyable evening. The flambé saganaki might be a tasty party piece, but the main course, a whole grilled sea bream, eaten within a stone's throw of the ocean with the sound of waves gently breaking in the background, was marvellous. As I solo traveller, I really appreciated the friendly welcome and impeccable service. A complimentary ouzo to finish did not go amiss either! Γεια μας!
