Currently, you place your order with the host before you’re seated. You access the online menu by scanning a QR code. I think there is also a menu displayed on the wall in the entry way. You can browse the menu on the website and save some time. While there isn’t a vegan symbol on the vegan entrees, they do say “vegan” in the title or description. We ordered a basket of chips and salsa, nopal tacos, and the nopal burrito. The chips were everything you’d expect: not too thick or thin, not too greasy, and with a nice corn flavor. The salsa tasted very fresh. I had the nopal tacos, and the flavor was spot on. After I started eating, I regretted only ordering 2 tacos because they were so, so good. But halfway through the 2nd one, I knew I couldn’t finish three. If you’re hungry though, go for the 3rd one. : My husband had the nopal burrito. Unlike a different vegan burrito he had on this trip, he said the flavor of everything came through. He experimented with the house made hot sauces, but says they weren’t necessary. The burrito includes whole beans (not refried a plus for him and everything was cooked and seasoned perfectly.
Sitting here for breakfast and getting a table fast (many other places to breakfast had long lines so that this was a big plus. the veggie burrito was so-so: had not much taste without adding hot sauce to it. island tacos is about 30 minutes from this location when they are looking for delicious Mexican options.
Have the cactus burrito and found it quite tasteless without hot sose guacamole was very creamy that asked me if it was vegan probably my own stupid debt, but the pina colada was very much not vegan.
