Wishbones - Knoxville

I used to live and work near Wishbones on Clinton Highway, and it quickly became one of my favorite restaurants. While it may not always be crowded, trust me, it's worth a visit. They serve the best chicken tenders, fries, and sweet tea, just to name a few. The fries are cooked perfectly, with just steam and no oil soaking in. It's impressive how consistently delicious everything is. I highly recommend this place. And for those who enjoy chicken livers, some of my friends say this is the best place to get them.

My 94-year-old mother absolutely adores the fried chicken liver and fried green tomatoes at this restaurant. She raved about the perfectly cut thin slices of green tomato, perfectly spiced and delicious. The quality of the food is top-notch and the prices are very reasonable. In addition to the liver and tomatoes, they offer a variety of other menu options like wings and chili dogs for those who are not liver fans. (Disclaimer: ignore the cauliflower in the picture, I made it myself.)

I used to live and work near the Wishbones on Clinton Highway, and I remains one if my favorite fresh food restaurants. Yes, there is always alone, but trust me, it's worth it. They have the best Chicken tenders, the best fries, the best sweet tea, you get the idea. They cook the fries to perfection so that all the water inside is just steam but no oil gets inside them. It's amazing how consistently good everything there is. I can't recommend them more. And if you love chicken livers like some of my friends do they say this is simply the best place in town for them as well.

What a great place. I have this restaurant for years and always promised that one day I would stop. I stopped and I'm glad that I did. It was very clean. The lady behind the counter was super nice. I got the wings. They were a great size, prepared perfectly and tasted great. I definitely will be back.
