Myrtle's Chicken Beer - Knoxville

This restaurant in Market Square specializes in fried chicken. While I found the fried chicken sandwich to be enjoyable, it didn't particularly impress me. However, my wife ordered the chicken and waffles, and that truly amazed me. The combination of sweet and savory flavors was fantastic. We also tried the cheddar biscuits as an appetizer, which were tasty, but the butter was drizzled on the paper liner instead of directly on the biscuits. As a result, the butter soaked into the paper, making it difficult to apply it to the biscuits.

This restaurant is a fantastic dining spot! It features both an indoor area and a cozy outdoor patio. The food is served hot and fresh. I tried the special Buffalo chicken tacos, and they were absolutely bursting with flavor! I visited during lunch, and while there was a slight wait, it was definitely worth it. The menu offers a variety of comforting food options, and everything is clean with friendly service. The portion sizes are generous, leaving you curious about how everything else tastes. There’s something for everyone here, making it a great place to enjoy a good conversation over delicious food.

Everything we ordered was delicious, and the service was exceptional! Two of us had the chicken tenders, which were huge and very tasty. One person ordered the CBC chicken sandwich, and it was really good. I opted for the chicken salad sandwich, which was quite large and a bit messy to eat, but still very enjoyable. We also started with the tomato pie as an appetizer, and I was pleasantly surprised by how much I liked it! We couldn’t resist trying the mini cheddar biscuits as well, which were delightful. Overall, it was a fantastic experience! ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Atmosphere was great! Our waitress was awesome... always making sure our drinks were filled and very attentive. I got chicken tenders which tasted good and perfectly cooked, but batter seemed a little salty. Sweet potato waffle fries were a little overcooked and too much salt was added. I recommend to ask for no salt. Everyone else in my party loved their food, but also thoughtchicken was a little salty.
