Gus's World Famous Fried Chicken

What an incredible experience! Amy, our server, was absolutely wonderful and truly brightened my day. The food here is incredibly fresh! The chicken is made to order, so you’ll need to let it cool for a moment, as it's cooked to perfection straight from the fryer—neither overdone nor undercooked. I’ve never had coleslaw that was so vibrant, fresh, and crunchy! The mac and cheese was thick, creamy, and rich, bringing back lovely childhood memories. From the moment I walked in to when I was seated, it took only about 5 to 10 minutes for my meal to arrive. I give it a perfect 10/10 and will definitely be back soon!

A Taste of Memphis. Since relocating, we've been on the hunt for great dining spots, and we finally discovered Gus's in Knoxville. It feels like a little slice of heaven. The chicken is juicy and has a slight kick, cooked to perfection. And the creamy mac and cheese? That's what soul food is all about. Need proof? Check out my last picture—just two wings and a breast left... nothing but bones! LOL

We visited for the first time and everything was piping hot and delicious! We will definitely be returning. We shared the half chicken plate with Slav, along with beans and a variety of their spiced fries. They also have a great selection of beers. The service was excellent and very friendly!

Was this week in Knoxville for work. The fried cats and the chicken comb. Free green tomatoes for appetizer and shoe cake for dessert. Perfectly seasoned over the board. Great classic crisp and super juicy. That's all I have to say.

Ive always been blown away with the great chicken and sides at all Gus’s locations. Today I was also blown away with service I rec’d from Monique in Knoxville! Absolutely flawless, fast, attentive, extremely nice! The epitome of hospitality!
