Cafe 4 - Knoxville

Came here on an overnight with my crew and we settled on this place. Service was fast and everybody was very cordial from the hostess to our waitress. We got to sit outside on the patio and luckily it was a perfect day to do so, not too hot, not tooloud nor too windy. The ambiance was delightful. We shared the warm pimento cheese dip and I had the music city melt. Everything that we ordered tasted good, no complaints! I really wanted to try the lobster Mac n cheese, but felt it might havebeen too much cheese in one setting. So, I will definitely be coming back next time!!

In town the for 3rd Saturday in September. FYI this will be a two part review because I went back to back days. My party went here for dinner before the game. FYI you must reserve in advance but read the FAQ on how to reserve because the number of peoplein your group determine who to book. After an hour long wait we were seated. Cole, our server was pleasant and interactive withconversation. I ordered the house old fashioned which was delectable. Along with the grilled cheese and tomato bisque dipper. Mymeal delivered fullness and joy to me. Our table shared truffle parmesan fries which crushed all expectations. The followingday we returned for brunch before kickoff. My creamsicle mimosa got the day started. There were punch bowls that tables aroundus got that I must try next time I fly down. For brunch my entree was chicken biscuit with grits. Excellent meal to start abig day. The restuarant has indoor and outdoor seating. I ate outside both times under the overhang which shielded us from alight rain. I would return to this establishment. 9.8/10

Update from July 2022: Too busy, food too heavy. We went in for lunch today and it was so loud inside (too many seats in this space, which indicates cheap seat allocation; the glass in between the seating areas really doesn?t help . My chicken and wafflewas unfortunately a little disappointing; the breading completely separated from the chicken which suggests that it might havebeen reheated; soggy waffles and peppery gravy (it gave me a little bit of an upset stomach too . I also don?t like that theydon?t have physical menus; we were with a senior and she didn?t like it. Honestly, I felt like I?m in a diner and generallyexpected more from the place. Very cool atmosphere and very good food. I enjoyed the non-alcoholic mojito a lot. What I?dchange for sure is less garlic in my pasta (it was way too intense for me and a little lighter in general, even though it?ssouthern food ;

I wish i knew the waiters name i forgot. But he was amazing. He really got our orders down to the detail, making sure we were happy and satisfied especially it being my mothers birthday. But what really made our hearts full and our eyes wet, is after wehad left and already paid the tip, my daughter fell and hurt her knee, and she needed to go to the bathroom. He let us come backin so she can go potty and when we walked out he had a bag of ice for her knee that we didn 't even ask for. He wasn 't asking foranything in return, and we already paid the bill and tip. It meant a lot and it just adds to Cafe 4, an already great place toeat, good vibe and good food . Thanks Cafe 4.

The experience here was a little underwhelming for us. My partner and I came here for a quick lunch date. We were seated immediately upon arrival. Our waiter was nice, but seemed distracted despite it appearing to be slow during the time of ourvisit. I had the Burger Stack and my partner had the fish tacos. The food was good, but not outstanding. I'd come again and trysomething different possibly.
