Contribuiți la feedbackA rare all-day dining restaurant in Karuizawa. A casual hotel restaurant that can be used without worrying about lunchtime, etc. However, despite trying to create a sense of luxury at the Hyatt, the content is quite rough and not enjoyable. The a la carte menu is not extensive, and the service staff gives a third-rate impression. Extremely disappointing in every way, like a shallow rural hotel restaurant.
I stayed at the hotel and had dinner there. Initially, when I called a week in advance to make a reservation, I was told, "We have a reservation for a group on that day, so we cannot accept your reservation." However, I was able to make a reservation through OpenTable, which was great. This was the first time I was told I couldn't make a reservation at the hotel restaurant where I was staying, so I was a bit surprised. The food and service were good. The menu had changed from when I made the reservation, and I was disappointed that the buffet was no longer available, but the 6000 yen course menu was filling enough. I didn't upgrade the main course and had the regular salmon and fresh fish (sea bream), which were delicious. My 5-year-old had the 3000 yen children's course, which had a generous portion of hamburgers, potatoes, pumpkin soup, pumpkin pie, potato salad, bread, and was very satisfying. There was an accident where a bug got into my child's juice, but the staff noticed it right away and replaced it. They also apologized for the noise from a group and escorted us to the exit, showing very kind and polite customer service. I would love to dine at this restaurant again when I stay here next time.
There is no indication of the types of dressings, juices, coffee, bread, etc., so it is unclear what they are. I also wish the dinner a la carte menu could be more substantial. At the very least, I would like to be able to eat items from the room service menu as well.
Since I was staying at the hotel, I had dinner there. At first, when I asked for a reservation over the phone a week in advance, I was told, ``We cannot accept reservations on that day because we have group reservations.'' However, I managed to get a call from Open Table. I'm glad I was able to make a reservation. Easy-going, suitable for men and women of all ages. Casual buffet style. The buffet menu is delicious. However, the atmosphere is that the store has just opened. All the working women are desperate. "Please wait a moment" is a common phrase that means "never come back." You can be sure of this if you ask the men in black clothes. I'm looking forward to what's to come. Shinshu beef fillet is quite small.
