Contribuiți la feedbackI recently dined at this restaurant with my family and was quite disappointed. The appetizers were small and the salad had a strong, unpleasant taste alongside the garlic mushrooms. The main course seemed like it had been cooked a few days prior, with tough veggies. We didn't even bother with dessert. While the restaurant used to be very good in the past, it seems to have recently declined in quality.
I recently dined at the restaurant with my family, which is a beautiful place with excellent staff. However, we were greatly disappointed by the food. The quality was lacking - the ham I ordered seemed to be a few days old and did not taste good.
On a Sunday called second choice to brunch because our first selection was packed with GAA supporters on the route to Dublin for the game. It was not pointed out that the breakfast menu ends at 11 a.m., as our party was still looking for...more breakfast than lunch at that time. First impressions, friendly staff and offered to arrange tables to arrange our party of four adults, two teenagers and three children. After a bit of reflection on the menu, the adults for appetizers and coffee/cones as a Brat dinner did not leave at 11 a.m. The children went for chicken burgers, goujons and chips and soup. Beautiful comfortable seats and decoration and service was timely. The homemade style was beautiful, filo prawns tasty, mushrooms tasty but caesar salad was dissapointing, bacon was dried and crispy and overall quite tasteless. Goujons, burgers and chips were good. Soup was also made home. The children had chocolate cakes and apple crumbs for dessert and they liked them. Overall impression, good service, standard menu and food, average price but still much prefer another restaurant in Kinnegad so probably will not be back.
Recently, Harrys called for lunch. The Carbonara is fantastic and the other meal on this occasion was the chicken that looked Fab and I said was also really delicious. Staff are nice and friendly, but the food was a little waiting...as always would recommend it and would not exclude it.
We have been to Harry's (Hilamar Hotel a few times now, for mothers day, Fathers day and even just when we fancied a bite to eat out. Well I have to say the staff are so friendly and as for the food YUMMY YUMMY YUMMY...: Delicious. Can not wait to go back :
