Manuel's - Kingston upon Thames

During our visit to New Malden in May and June 2023, we had the opportunity to dine at Manuels, located on the High Street. Hailing from Canada, we were drawn to this establishment due to our positive experience at a Manuels in Wimbledon Park. The bakery's display of baked goods in the front window caught our attention, and upon entering, we were greeted by Sundeep, who seemed to have a rapport with many regular customers. The selection of breakfast, brunch, and lunch items was extensive and the quality of the food was top-notch. The premises were impeccably clean and we appreciated the hot food served promptly to our table. We also noticed a community involvement aspect, with the restaurant's decor featuring historical photos of New Malden. Situated near the train station and surrounded by charity shops, Manuels is a convenient and charming spot to grab a coffee or treat. We will definitely be returning to Manuels in New Malden during our next visit.

This bakery is fantastic, with a kind gentleman as the manager who takes great care in the quality of the food and cleanliness of the store. The brownies here are absolutely delicious and the best I have ever had in my 7 years of living in London.

A great place simple decor and a high standard of cooking. Genuinely home made treats and meals and if you look carefully you can see proper pastry being made in a proper bowl. Oh and the bread is fresh and tasty. A good selection to eat in or take away a good addition to the High St.

My wife and I frequently visit this charming cafe and always receive top-notch service. We have never had a negative experience here. I went in for a cream cake and there was an extensive amount of mould on the back. When I told the manager, he told me I already paid for it and did not give me a new one. The table was dirty and my water glass had lipstick stains on it. Very bad hygiene.
