This establishment was once just a coffee stand inside a laundromat. It was perfect for grabbing a quick coffee to go, but it was never a full cafe. It has since closed down, but it was convenient if you needed to get your laundry done!
Fantastic coffee honestly the best coffee I've had in Kingston. And friendly service as well... next time I'll have a brownie too they looked delicious. Thanks!
While driving down Berrylands Road on my way to meet a friend for coffee in Surbiton, I noticed Coffee at Eleven. Intrigued, we parked across the street and went into the Washtub launderette where the quirky pop up coffee shop is located. The barista was friendly and explained the different coffee options from Square Mile Coffee Roasters as they prepared a delicious latte and flat white for us. We couldn't resist trying a salted caramel brownie as well, which was also fantastic. We enjoyed our drinks and treats on a bench inside the launderette, but we could have also chosen to stand at the counter or take our coffee to go. The cozy atmosphere and great coffee have convinced us that we will definitely be returning to Coffee at Eleven in the future.
Having grown up 100 meters from Berrylands Road, I was shocked to find that the mobile unlocking booth inside the laundrette had changed.. into a pop-up coffee shop. I can only imagine the owners went to look up Brixton before they noticed the quaintly named suburb where I spent my formative years. Whilst the tiny booth may be.. tiny, this does not stop them from serving fantastic coffee. They use Square Mile coffee beans which, if you consider yourself a coffee snob will know, are absolutely beautiful. The friendly owners made me a flat white (usual £2~ price) and I also bought a brownie (perfectly made). Whilst I can't commend them enough for their bravery in opening a shop such as theirs in this area, I wonder if their brilliance will go unnoticed thanks to their precarious laundrette-placement. Good luck!
