Bruce Steakhouse - Kincardine

Excellent location and great menu for all needs. Three adults and two young children in our group, two with special dietary restrictions, all of which were accommodated. Great patio overlooking lake. Varied beer selection and good coctail options.

This can be a hard restaurant to get into unless you are willing to sit inside. We wanted an outside table so we could view Lake Huron. The food was good, no complaints and the waitress was excellent. The presentation of the food was lacking but the atmosphere was great.

Stopped mid-afternoon Canada Day and the place was pretty busy. It was a very warm day and they were struggling with the heat, flies coming in and a/c not keeping up. I did get a little distressed at the bartender breaking bags of ice by throwing them on the floor! The beer menu here is excellent and the mid day pub fare menu was also very good. We waited a bit longer than I thought was needed for both food and our drinks. My beer was cloudy for some reason and the waitress happily swapped it out for another. Our food was good although my husbands burger was tasty but a bit greasy. We’ll go here again. Just maybe not on such a hot busy day.

First visit was very enjoyable.Beautiful evening on the patio with a great view of Kincardine Harbour and Lake Huron. Had run out of our first choice, wings, but were more than happy with our choices of Beef Dip and Chicken Fingers. Server was very pleasant and attentive to our requests. Will return when we visit Kindardine again, recommend The Bruce paricularly their patio.

We arrived at 5:30. We wished we had arrived earlier as the patio was already all full! The hostess agreed for us to sit at the bar until a patio table became available. We ordered the special of the day Perch Basket and the Reuben . Both were excellent. Our waitress was very busy but was able to still deliver great service. We will definitely be back, but earlier next time!
