The Capercaillie - Killin

I recently celebrated my birthday, and it was absolutely wonderful! I loved sitting on the meadow bench next to the beautiful rushing stream. The food here is amazing—I've eaten here five times already! Last night, I had a massive burger that was incredibly tasty, and I couldn't resist the sticky toffee pudding, which was delightful. The staff is very friendly and chatty, and they're great with kids. I just wish I lived closer! It's a fantastic place!

Great budget hotel! It's clean, comfortable, and warm. I mostly interacted with Craig at the bar and the chef. The home-cooked food in the evening was amazing, and breakfast was fantastic! The staff really cater to personal preferences, even if things don’t always go perfectly. I would definitely recommend it, and we will be coming back!

Excellent visit. good cheerful reception for us and our dog. decor is typical highland but clean and fine. good atmosphere on Wednesday. it is very popular with local and tourist. eat very good and quite expensive.

Wonderful atmosphere and fantastic location! We visited for a meal on a bustling Saturday, and the food was delicious and served promptly. The staff were outstanding—friendly, knowledgeable, and very helpful. This place is definitely worth a visit if you're in Killin. I just wish we could have stayed overnight, as I imagine it would be a lovely spot to spend more time.
