Geechie's Southern Style - Killeen

It’s the sweet potatoes and the Big House chicken for me, and the shrimp and grits. Let’s face it all of Geechie’s dishes are great. The service is great and the staff is super nice.

Very busy and very popular place to eat. It's a bit small, prices were reasonable, good was excellent. If you're not into fried food or grits this probably isn't the place for you, although they have a wonderful selection and something to please your taste, they have take out as well.

Y’all, today we went to Geechie’s Southern Style Restaurant in Killeen, Texas and it was a taste of home, straight from the Lowcountry! I had a fine bowl of grits with yummy shrimp, but the best part was the three big ole pieces of catfish just packed with those good spices. Everybody had some fried chicken which were those yummy drummettes which took my tastebuds right back to the fellowship hall. My family loved the Three Sista Gurls chicken and waffles, the cornbread was fabulous and the collard greens could not have been tastier. You’ve got to try this place out! Come early, they get busy because the locals know where the good food is.

The food is exceptional, and the staff is wonderful. I dine here every Sunday without fail. It's my favorite place!
