The Lakeside Bistro - Killarney

Bistro is a pleasant place to eat. Rather loud comparing to the restaurant which is located on the opposite site of the hall and serves only gourmet menu. There's plenty of staff and waiting time was rather short. Calamari were served with a sauce they were tasty when eating separately, however both flavours don't match together. The hotel and the surroundings are impressive. Be prepared to spot some deer.

One of the best restaurants in Killarney in terms of view, service, price and of course food! Really enjoyable experience, would highly recommend going to the Bistro on a clear day and taking in the view!

During my visit to Killarney in the winter of 2023, I had the pleasure of dining at the Lake Hotel. I visited the restaurant three times during my two-night stay and enjoyed dishes such as fish and chips, a full Irish breakfast, and a cheeseburger. The food and service were excellent, and there was entertainment available on weekends.

We had an incredible dining experience at this restaurant from the moment we arrived. The service was top-notch, with a friendly and knowledgeable staff. The food was absolutely delicious, with flavorful dishes that made our mouths water. The steak was cooked to perfection and the sides were equally tasty. Every bite was heavenly and the desserts were exceptional too. I highly recommend this restaurant for a truly outstanding meal.

The best food I had so far in Ireland. A very attentive service. This went significantly into the area “Fine dining”, only the vegetables at the main food appeared to me island-average. The slowly murdered pork cakes as an appetizer, the lamb with a perfect sauce as the main course and the Plum-Croissant Tart with Sorbet were fantastic!
