Muckross Garden - Killarney

We loved this place so much that we returned for a second day! Not only are the house and gardens stunning, but the working farms are also captivating. The farmhouses are open for exploration and showcase incredible examples of the residents' skills and craftsmanship in their daily lives. There are plenty of opportunities to learn about pottery, weaving, cooking, farming, and leather work. The restaurant is a wonderful spot to enjoy a delicious meal, a sweet treat, or a light snack.

I recently visited House Farms with my family last weekend. We had a fantastic time exploring Muckross House on a guided tour with Sheila, who was very engaging and knowledgeable. The traditional farms on the grounds were charming, reminiscent of a smaller version of Bunratty. Although there were no animals in the petting farm, my three children were thrilled to meet the two new wolfhound puppies. Overall, it was a delightful experience for all of us.

Outstanding! The tour was interesting, the musicians did an amazing job,the food was delicious, and the people welcoming and did a great job. Highly recommend the experience.

Lovely place to visit, been here on lots of occasions, taken many family members too now have to visit again to see the donkeys
