Jk's - KILL DEVIL HILLS

When we arrived, there was a bit of a wait, but they seated everyone fairly quickly. The filet mignon was extremely tender, while my husband’s ribeye was a bit fatty and not very tender. The vegetable of the day, roasted mashed potatoes, was delicious, and we really enjoyed the asparagus since it was our first time trying that type of food.

If you're in search of an amazing steak, JK's is the place to be. They consistently serve great food and provide excellent service. We always make sure to visit JK's whenever we’re in the Outer Banks. Absolutely outstanding!

If you're in the area and a steak lover, this place is an absolute must-visit. Even someone as anxious as I am felt welcomed and at ease. We were curious if the wait would be worth it, and I can confidently say that everything surpassed our expectations. I went to dinner with my husband, but we had an experience far more meaningful than we could have imagined. The staff clearly have a comfortable rapport with one another and with the owner. The owner is genuinely a wonderful person who surrounds himself with great company. And, of course, I haven’t even mentioned the food yet. I’ve always wanted to try a rare steak, and I’m so glad I did. The ribeye was the most flavorful, melt-in-your-mouth cut I’ve ever had the pleasure of tasting. You know that bread and butter they serve? My husband practically devoured the entire loaf, but he strategically placed a small piece on my plate to make it look like he hadn’t eaten it all by himself. And the mashed potatoes!!! I know the steak is supposed to be the star of the show, but honestly, the potatoes were my favorite part. Overall, while there was a bit of a wait, the food was exceptional and the staff even more so. I’m not sure if the owner will see this, but thank you so much for making our evening unforgettable. I feel like this is one of those experiences that will stay with a person for years to come. I’m so glad we decided to grab a drink at the bar while we waited; it allowed us to meet such amazing people.

This is the go-to steakhouse in the Outer Banks! It’s a favorite among both locals and tourists. Every steak we tried was cooked to perfection, and the service was friendly and outstanding. I highly recommend it!

I absolutely adore the atmosphere of this restaurant. The owner, John, along with his staff, truly prioritize their customers and ensure they have a great experience! Additionally, they serve delicious martinis at the bar. If you're in OBX, this is definitely a must-try for dinner!
