Glendine Inn - Kilkenny

The food was amazing and the staff were very friendly. The restaurant is very clean and the prices of the meals are very reasonable.

I stayed here for the first time and loved the cozy room. I will definitely stay here again the next time I'm in Kilkenny. I highly recommend it. The location is convenient, with private parking and a quiet environment for a good night's sleep.

I was searching for a highly rated and affordable hotel near Kilkenny and came across the Glendine Inn online. It is both a pub restaurant and has rooms upstairs. Our group of 5 couples booked most of the rooms and had a great experience. The staff were friendly and we enjoyed lunch and drinks while waiting for our rooms. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Although a bit outside of Kilkenny, the staff gave us a map and we were able to walk into town along a beautiful river walk, passing by various points of interest such as a church tower with stunning views, the Smithwicks brewery, and of course, the castle. Overall, it was excellent value for money.

I stayed here as I was attending a wedding in the area. Small basic room but comfortable enough. Clean and tidy. Staff very friendly and helpful. I had a mini Irish breakfast which I thought was good value for €10 with a large teapot of tea. Food was very tasty too. The weather was terrible on the day and the landlord loaned me his brolly for the day. A very enjoyable stay.
