Contribuiți la feedbackThere is a separate vegan section next to the vegetarian section. the chana masala was decently delicious (but medium was mild so that I would order next time hot.) we sat at the window at sunset, which was the best. super friendly staff also.
Tried the aloo gobi, chapati and chai tee. the aloo and chai tasted both watery and had barely and spicy. I make better Indian food home in my instant pot. the rice was so muddy overboiled. too expensive for no taste. my man had similar feelings about his fleshy escape.
Edit: we went back a second time and ate in instead of getting out. we have been informed that despite the vegan option online for take out and clearly labeled as vegan the malai kofta was not vegan. they put cheese in the veggiebälle and we ate it unknowingly. the waitress tried to cover it by claiming that taking out is somehow different that it eat inside and that the vegan malai kofta chef was out. it was fucking. massiv misleading and dangerous for those with lactose allergies! the veggie part of the menu has clear note on vegan options and most veggie items can be made vegan. awesome samosas (comes with only two, but so good and has a vegan malai kofta that is a rare thing to find. we were very pleasantly surprised by this place updated by the previous review on 2021-10-04
Must try to visit maui for vegans. they have identified a complete vegan section and then a vegetarian section with options that can be made vegan. also have vegan naan a vegan dessert. I loved my meal absolutely.
The location is great next to the seaside. Good ambience. The food is bordering below average. It was really salty and the portions are really small. Be prepared to spend a lot here.
