Cuatro Maui - Kīhei

Absolutely fabulous! My wife and I are food enthusiasts, and we've dined in numerous Michelin-rated restaurants around the world. Cuatro is nearly as good as those! The ahi tacos and crab cakes were exceptional—possibly the best crab cake we've ever tasted. The mahi mahi, finished in a Mediterranean style, was incredibly moist, and the portion size was very generous. I highly recommend this place. The only drawback is that they don't have an alcohol license, but you can bring your own wine or spirits.

Cuatro never disappoints! We had the tuna nachos, shrimp tacos, salad, and the Mediterranean preparation of mackerel. Everything was excellently cooked, and the fish was perfect. I can't wait to go back!

We hadn't visited Cuatro in several years and weren't particularly fond of it, but after hearing some positive reviews, we decided to give it another try. We were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the seafood, which was available in several different preparations. It's a simple family restaurant that offers good food at fair prices. One thing we overlooked when making the reservation was their BYOB policy, which required us to stop by Foodland to buy a bottle of wine. They charged a $10 fee for uncorking it.

Do not let them fool you from the inconceivable outside in the food land strip mall. the food was fresh and excellent. small menu, but each item with skill and love prepared for detail. tuna nacho was for to die. the sauces over the fish were on place and did not overwhelm the entrée. service attentive and friendly. reservations must be - just like 10 tabs.

Small neighborhood restaurant with easygoing vibe. Love that this is not a crowded, super noisy, big, pretentious, overpriced restaurant that you would find in Wailea or Kaanapali/Kapalua. Yet, the quality of food, the décor, and the popularity of this place rivals them all. The food is a fusion of latin and pacific foods so if you like a little heat to your food, you'll love Cuatro. Plus, we love that it's BYOB $10 corkage fee regardless of the number of bottles! you can enjoy your wine with their excellent food and not break the bank. The owner waited on us, really personable and friendly. Reservations are a must because it is a small restaurant but again, this is part of its charm , and they do not hurry you along to finish your meal so they can turn the table for another party. I've felt rushed in celebrity chef establishments paying double the price. This is a great place and one we'll definitely continue to return to. We wish them continued success.
