La Trattoria Oceanside - Key West

We selected this restaurant to celebrate my birthday. The food was delicious and the service was excellent! It's across the street from the Gulf of Mexico with an amazing view.

LTO has been long time favorite for special occasions. We invited a local couple/ friends. It was embarassing .Service was erratic and almost incoherent at times, Scallops OK but poor presentation. Local Fish entire plate covered with yellow sauce. My Saltimbocca was baked so much it was hard to cut and tasteless, covered totally in some green salad. Have lived 2 years in Italy so know what dish should look and taste like. Wrong entrees brought out initially after long wait then another 10 minutes for correct ones. I blame management for allowing untrained people to keep restaurant open. Years ago, places closed down when season was over and trained staff left town. LTO should not have been open last night.

10/10 recommend going. The key lime martini is AMAZING and tall Chris was the best server I have ever had. The carbonara ravioli was divine. Beautiful view of the ocean paired with a quiet ambiance.

Delicious food and wonderful service. My husband and I shared the beef carpaccio appetizer. So delicious and the waiter, Christopher, asked, when taking the order, that we knew it was raw meat. It was so good! I had the seafood ravioli and my husband had the veal Marsala. Both were excellent. Great view of the water, which is across the street.

Everything about this place was amazing! The food, the fresh sauce for the lasagna was to die for! Highly recommend.
