Cuban Coffee Queen - Key West

I stopped by this restaurant after a long bus ride to grab some refreshments, and I decided to try the mango mix smoothie. I was looking for something cool and refreshing, and it really did the trick. While I have definitely had better smoothies in the past, this one was still good and enjoyable! It was quite refreshing overall!

Cuban Coffee Queen has three locations in Key West, and they serve some of the best coffee and quick-serve sandwiches on the island. Their Cuban press sandwiches are fantastic, and the guava Cuban bread with cream cheese is simply incredible! All of their sandwiches are excellent. For dark roast lovers, their Queen's Roast coffee offers a truly satisfying flavor. The Front Street location is especially convenient, featuring both front and rear entrances and great operating hours. There's another spot near the waterfront, close to the Half Shell Boathouse on the back side of Margaret Street, and a third location at Duval Southard in Key Lime Square. The owners and staff are incredibly friendly, and their slogans and merchandise are both high-quality and clever!

During our second visit to Key West, we ordered a grilled cheese sandwich, a black bean veggie burger, macaroni and cheese, and two café con leches, which came to $31.18. We were quite hungry, and the meal satisfied us perfectly. The coffee was fantastic—definitely a must-try to energize yourself in this climate. I would love to visit again! They also have some good vegetarian options. Be sure to try their key lime pie for $7; I absolutely loved it!

Great coffee, great food. Wonderful place to site and enjoy the A/C. And most importantly use the restroom.

Delicious food and drinks at this place. Friendly service as well. We appreciated the recommendations from the staff. I love the tumeric con leche drink as it was refreshing and invigorating. After trying the jose Karri sandwich with beans and rice, I was impressed and will have to come back for more. See you soon!
