I visited this pub with my wife and our two dogs after hiking up Scafell Pike. I'm quite particular about where I eat, but I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food here—it was quite good! The atmosphere was also fantastic. Overall, I’d rate the food a solid 5, the service a 5, and the atmosphere a 5 as well. I highly recommend trying the Beer Battered Fish, Pie, and Chips!

If I could give this place more than t stars I would. Came in for a light lunch, had the sloppy Joe with chips and it was amazing! Prices were reasonable as well. Will definitely be coming back! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes: Chips
