Contribuiți la feedbackI visited this restaurant with my 11-year-old son, and we had a wonderful time. We played pool on the one coin-operated table while our food was being prepared, and we felt very comfortable. The place was surprisingly clean for a bar, and the bartender was friendly. The gyros and JoJo fries were exceptional, just like always. I don’t think I’ve ever ordered anything else from their menu!
What a fantastic little spot! EuroGyro offers a menu filled with pizza, burgers, sandwiches, beers, and cocktails, providing a nice variety of options. My husband and I are Kent State alumni from 1969 to 1971 (I attended for two years, while he completed his degree). This is our third visit to relive those wonderful memories, and it was by far the best experience yet. One thing I was set on was eating pizza, which was such an integral part of our time at Kent for various reasons. Trying to find a pizzeria on campus that had dine-in service, and was open before 4:00 PM, turned out to be quite the challenge! That was the strangest part for me. After many attempts and phone calls, we were close to giving up, but I made one last effort and called EuroGyro. They were indeed open, had dine-in available, and were just a couple of minutes away. We walked in and ordered what turned out to be the best mushroom, pepperoni, and double cheese pizza I’ve had in a long time, along with a couple of Cokes. The pizza arrived at our table within minutes, hot and steaming—it was pure bliss. Honestly, it was one of the best pizzas I've ever tasted. The staff were friendly, the service was excellent, and the atmosphere made me feel like I was back in school—dimly lit with great music, just like any good bar. When we return to Kent State in the future, I’m fairly certain I know exactly where we’ll be eating. Thanks for a great experience, everyone!
The food was delicious and arrived quickly. The bartenders did an excellent job handling the sudden rush of customers. I even witnessed someone next to me being turned away for trying to use a fake ID from Tennessee, which made me proud to see their vigilance.
I visited Kent State for a job interview at the end of February and was looking for something to eat around 10.00 pm after I reached my hotel from Airport. This was the nearest place open. Their Cajun Chicken Gyro is one of the best gyros I have evereaten so far. It was hot, greasy and flavorful and as a South Asian: perfect for me. There was also stand-up comedy going onwhile I was waiting for my food. The girl working behind the counter was nice. The overall ambiance seems great. I wouldrecommend this place.
EuroGyro has been our favorite spot for pizza during our time in Kent, so we wanted to take advantage of the Wednesday $5.99 special one last time before we moved. The...
