Letty's Tavern - KENNETT SQUARE

Had a reservation for 7pm on Saturday 1/13. Arrived at the restaurant to find a note on the door saying it was closed. No courtesy call or text from management. What a waste of time and energy. Shame on you guys.

There was no tea or coffee available, as they were waiting for a delivery from Mrs. Robinson's Tea Company, just a few doors down. It seemed odd to be out of such basic staples. Both hot and cold tea were unavailable, which was quite unusual. The food was mediocre. I wish I had opted for Buckley’s, a place I know is reliable.

The entertainment was fantastic, the service was excellent, but the prices were quite high.

We enjoyed the shared plates, which were excellent, and the service was also commendable. The Mushroom Arancini, Meatballs, and Poutine were particularly noteworthy. However, the mushroom soup with chili oil was slightly overwhelming; three of our guests found it a bit too intense and hard to swallow. Given that we were in Kennett Square, we had high expectations for the mushroom soup and were hoping for something exceptional.

My family and I had a wonderful experience here. It was through a week day evening dinner. Great looking place. Would come again to dine and have a few drinks.
