Sovana Bistro - KENNETT SQUARE

I've heard such great things about sowana and I was so excited to try it. the inner is beautiful with a boho building vibe. the beam is a cool curve.

Came here after the mushroom festival to celebrate a birthday. space was very for reservations for a decent size group. really good cocktails!.

Last night my family and I went to eat. we have only eaten in hoods in unionville to find it closed. Since we continued to drive, we've gotten into one.

Since the fire and the covid it was not that we could look forward to a special occasion. we sat 20 minutes after our reservation time and spent this time in the bar. the bar area was much bigger than the last layout they had, but it's somehow not big enough. felt as if they were overwhelmed by tables, which led to it. the menu was quite similar to what I remembered, but the prices were significantly higher. definitiw has the upscale, casual mood and I expect to pay more, but $18 20 for a cocktail are new york city prices not knowtt square. we all ended up with pasta dishes that were all delicious and those were all reasonable prices. the amuse bouche was delicious cauliflower and fennel. the cinnamon roll bread pudding was a great choice and the birthday cake enjoyed it with the cute birthday candle. total a pleasant meal, but some things to consider on menu and service. Definitiw do not pay $40 for huh, so the price on which deserves a consideration if they have pasta on the menu, brot for the table should check a certain server on those not drink alcohol also for refills if a party of four adult have 3 taking leftovers put them in separate pockets put them in a pocket with pay does not help to find out what belongs to them, especially if

I’ve loved this spot for years, before and after the fire but had just discovered that it is directly halfway between where my brother lives (Newark, DE) and my house in West Chester, PA. Bingo! The perfect brunch spot. I’ve actually only had dinner here prior, many times and always great, but it was fun to check out their brunch menu. My brother is a foodie and he thoroughly enjoyed the choices, vacillating between the Nashville hot chicken sandwich and the how can you go wrong eggs Benedict. I was all over the board, as usual but decided to go with the interesting sounding veggie sandwich which was divine. It had a pastrami and rye appearance but chocked full of root vegetables- YUM. Our waiter couldn’t have been nicer and had the perfect cadence for checking in with us. Can’t wait to go back.
