What a lovely place! The hotel has an amazing view of the mountains, providing us with an exceptional panorama. The staff is incredibly welcoming and attentive. The check-in process was easy. The breakfast was okay, but I would have liked more hot food options. The views were great, but the car park needs improvement. There were also issues with the kettle leaking, which seems to be a common problem at this establishment. Overall, it was good value for the stay in early November. Rooms and service were both rated at 3, while the location was a 5. The highlight of the hotel was its quiet atmosphere.

It is the perfect place to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life and completely relax amid the natural beauty of the Westhoek. As for the culinary experience, Hotel Kemmelberg's cuisine is truly exquisite. We enjoyed delicious meals with fresh, local ingredients prepared in a tasty and creative way. Kudos to the chef Guy and his team. One special aspect that made our stay even more special was the hotel's dog-friendliness. We traveled with our four-legged friend and the hotel offered plenty of amenities and services for dogs. Integrating the dog into the dining area would be an extra plus. Hotel Kemmelberg ensured that both our dog and ourselves had a great time. In short, Hotel Kemmelberg in Kemmel is a hidden gem for nature lovers, gourmets and dog lovers. The combination of the beautiful natural surroundings, the warm welcome, the excellent cuisine and the dog-friendly attitude of the staff make this hotel an absolute gem. It’s was wonderful weekend gateway trip. The hotel staff made our stay very comfortable and enjoyable. The chef is just awesome. Im 7months pregnant so he took a note of that and created special menu for me so that I could enjoy the meals (breakfast, lunch and dinner) His dishes are perfect and very tasty.
