I like to go to this place on Saturday morning for a Galao Cappuccino) and a Portuguese chocolate croissant. I have learned everything about the counter, is freshly baked every day, but the bakeries in the chilled showcase are not so fresh. Big disappointment of this New Year's Eve, I bought $40.00 worth of different pastries, and the Bolas de berlin were hard and dry, the Eclairs tasted like refrigerator and the cream inside became dry again and it had no taste, the swirl lemon cake was dry and old Oh boy. Great disappointment. We literally threw the pastries away. On special days like this, shouldn't they present the best they can bake? You are able to prove it before they throw their good reputation out of the window? The staff is nice and the service is not bad. I wish they sold old pastries. I don't know what this New Year's happened. Not cool!
