Taco John's - Kearney

"I always return to this restaurant; I've never visited the northern location. I've been there twice and ended up throwing the food out of my car window (not the packaging, just the food). The quality here is perfect each time! I had my first experience with TJ's in North Platte, and it rivals Flat Rocks. If I were a kid again, I would definitely say Lexington is great too! Oh my gosh, the six-pack and the food have been amazing—absolutely fantastic! I can’t wait to go back!"

I ordered a number 1 combo and was very satisfied with my experience. good customer service, management and a clean environment to enjoy the meal. the food came fast, and it was hot and fresh. the drive was full and there was an order in front of my camp. I have my lunch in two minutes. my past experience with this place was that the oles were always soggy and very oily a note on getting fried in cold oil. but this time they were all I love about taco john’s. crispy, spiced oles, which are composed so well by the crisp refreshing taste of a fountain nada from a well-adjusted machine. the tacos were filled with a beautiful amount of bark and salate, and the ingredients were fresh and of high quality. the personal knew the menu and ask all that I had, and the service was friendly. they have made sure to ask if I wanted hot or mild sauce. always a pleasure when the things go smooth. I was hesitant to give taco john’s a try again after a year and half a long break due to the unfortunate ole circumstances that I have called but I can absolutely say that the improvements are nothing less than a complete 180 turnaround.

I love Taco John’s! I've been visiting their locations in Kiel since 1971, and I've never been disappointed. Last week, I saw a woman in front of me with a dog, and they even offered a treat for the pup. It warms my heart to see such kindness and compassion for animals.

I had dinner at the restaurant and enjoyed the quiet atmosphere in the dining room, which was perfect since I was quite tired from work. The chicken burrito was fantastic—very flavorful! The potato oles were great as well. However, my tea was just okay; it seemed to be made from a pre-packaged syrup, which I find unappealing. While the dining room could use some improvement, overall, it was a good value after a long, hot, exhausting day.
