Coppermill Steakhouse Lounge - Kearney

This was the only restaurant that had available tables to reserve on a Friday night. It was a little pricey but willing to pay higher price for availability. The food was not great, the service was slow, took over 1 hour for food. We will not return.

The wait staff was very pleasant and attentive. The food was outstanding...the best steak in Kearney!! The bartender was so busy, but she was pleasant and patient and served all the patrons quickly and efficiently. As the evening progressed, the restaurant got busier and busier...the staff did not appear to be frustrated or chaotic. They helped one another if needed. We have found a new favorite !

Inattentive service- we had to find our own utensils as our food was served without them and our server didn’t bother to check. We ordered the special, Lobster Ravioli but were told 20 minutes later that the kitchen had “86’d” it. We waited another 10 minutes with empty water and drink glasses. Had to send prime rib back- I couldn’t even cut it with the steak knife. The asparagus was very underdone and tough. The rolls with garlic butter were fantastic and the tomato basil soup was very tasty. The prosciutto was just sliced fried, smoked bacon, very fatty and tough. My prime was replaced with a kc strip which was much better- although it had tons of butter and was over seasoned with salt which took away from the flavor. We did get a discount off our bill. For the cost I wasn’t all that impressed.

Excellent all around! The ribeye was cooked perfectly and was awesome. Our bartender Nathan did a great job of serving us, and made great cocktails. Will definitely stop again when passing through.
