Zoetrope - Kawasaki

This place is a paradise for whisky enthusiasts! The owner is friendly and extremely knowledgeable about whisky, gin, and cocktails. He is also a film lover, which is why his bar, a combination of a movie and whisky bar, is a fantastic spot that I highly recommend to anyone looking for unique and high-quality whiskies.

Large selection of Japanese whisky. the best we have seen. they also have other spirits. if they are looking for a good cocktail or a simple whisky, they look at it.

I always jump at the chance to visit Zoetrope for their fantastic selection of Japanese whisky and inviting atmosphere. The owner is incredibly knowledgeable about Japanese whiskies and can offer recommendations in English, if needed. Additionally, the owner is a big film enthusiast and Zoetrope showcases old black and white silent films on a wall, accompanied by music spanning the entire spectrum. The only drawback for me is that smoking is permitted at the bar.

Pleasantly surprised to see a large selection of Japanese whiskys, in contrast to scotch (of which there is also a selection of an owner/bartender who has a passion for his craft and is a font of knowledge about the thema. they would do well to follow his advice. shinjuku is full of terrible bars. that is not one of them. I'm very glad I found such a great place to experience Japanese whisky.

Zoetrope will eternally be one of my favorite bars in Japan: the Master knows all his Whiskeys in details, and this bar can offer you worldwide range of Whiskeys. Before, we used to have many affordable Japanese whiskeys but nowadays as it is more and more hard to find, this is one of my refuges when I want to drink whiskeys that are aged over 17 years.
