Contribuiți la feedbackAmazing Tori Paitan (white chicken broth) ramen when it comes to both flavours and presentation. The broth was rich and creamy that goes really well with the fresh toppings and the noodles had just the right texture (not too hard or soft). My partner had the truffle version and that was really good too as it was the right amount Enough that you can smell and taste the truffle but not too much that could have overpowered the dish. Be prepared to wait in line as it is popular amongst tourists. We got there just after 11.30am (restaurant opened at 11am) and waited approximately 45 minutes. They have an English and a Chinese menu available which was handy.
Very nice Ramen- different from all other ramen that I have tried. The chicken soup was very delicate, probably had some butter and cream? But very nice. The truffle mince added flavor to it- making it even more yummy.
Best creamy chicken broth I’ve ever had. The chicken topped on the noodles is perfectly cooked, not dry at all. Ordered their original chicken noodles. Hard to find the place especially at night, we had to ask another restaurant for directions. Portion here is huge. Skip the wantons on the side menu. They call it soba, but it’s not the usual green noodles you’d expect, they taste and look like ramen noodles.
It’s no more than a “been there, done that” moment. The ramen/soba wasn’t bad or anything but nothing spectacular nor anything to shout out about. The Special Chicken Broth Ramen was the highlight of the menu. The chicken slices were juicy and succulent and the broth was thick, creamy and full of umami. The ramen was cooked al dente and wasn’t dense/heavy. Overall an above average bowl of ramen. It’s worth a visit if you’re in the vicinity but definitely not a good use of time to travel from afar to enjoy this ramen. You can get equivalent satisfaction from a lot of other ramen shops all over Tokyo.
Apparently this is a michelin recommended restaurant. We had to queue up around 40-60 mins. Most people who were queuing were foreigners. We ordered a normal and a special soba in noodles. The soup base was VERY strong and filling. Dont get me wrong, it was lovely but after having half the bowl, it got a bit too filling.
