Always check to be safe, but when we went, everything in the restaurant, including all the bread, was vegan (no dairy or honey). I went with three friends. There were two varieties of lunch sets available, and they were both very simple but super healthy and delicious. They are actually more than what it looks like on the menu (the focaccia set came with with bread, a wasabi flavored pesto like sauce, pear tsukemono, another tsukemono, pumpkin soup, and a salad). We also bought a lot of breads to bring back with us to Tokyo, which are all fantastic. The setting is incredibly cozy and has both indoor and outdoor seating available. Definitely recommend.
This is a fabulous place for lunch, down a gravel lane into the forest where you would not expect a vegan cafe. The owner speaks enough English to explain the specials to us a fishless hot sandwich and the daily set grain and veg meal which included pumpkin soup, tempura and many tiny pickles, marinated veg and salads. Each was bursting with flavour. Great to try 10 different things all on the same plate. Also includes herbal tea. We also bought several breads for the ext day curry bun, focaccia and another sweet bun. Everything I saw seemed to be vegan so I don't know about dairy or honey in any of the items.
