Hukilau Lanai - Kapa‘a

The ambiance was lovely, with a view of the garden. The food was good and the service was excellent. The only issue was that there was a delay in receiving our main course, which was a bit frustrating as we were already full from the appetizer and salad. Despite this, we would definitely come back. Be sure to make reservations well in advance, at least 1 month ahead.

The food was delicious and the ambiance was pleasant, but the prices were high. Not the most budget-friendly option for travelers.

We had a wonderful dinner on our last night in Kauai at this restaurant located inside a hotel. We started with the calamari as an appetizer, which was panko furikake crusted strips flash fried and served with a delicious lemon sambal aioli. It was the best calamari we've ever had - tender, flavorful, and the aioli was amazing. For our main dishes, we both ordered the specials of the evening. I had the seabass special and my husband tried the special that featured three different types of fish. Each entree came with a choice of soup or salad, and we both chose salads. The Caesar salad and Wally's salad were both tasty, and the portions were generous, so we left feeling satisfied. The service was excellent and the atmosphere of the restaurant was pleasant, even though it was located inside a hotel.

We had our wedding reception here. It was perfect and the food was top notch. The ocean view made for a beautiful evening.

Outstanding and fantastic. I can't say anymore. Must try!! We will return the next time we are in Kauai.
